Angelelli Wins Silver inParalympic swimmer and American record holder, Cheryl Angelelli, won a pair of silver medals in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China, Sept. 6-17. Angelelli’s medal winning performances came in the women’s 50-meter and 100-meter freestyle races.
Angelelli also competed in the 2000 Paralympics in Sydney and the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, where she won two bronze medals.
